Glowed Up (previously titled “Outgrown”) was initially developed under Film London’s Microwave scheme and was a finalist for production funding. It is currently under further development with the British Film Institute.
Living in shelters and selling drugs for cash, Andre’s world is turned upside down when he meets Benny, a flamboyant but self destructive club kid from London. Andre is parachuted into a world obsessed with money, fame and beauty, but as their friendship turns destructive, Andre must come to terms with who he is and what he stands for.
